Matt Foltz, MPT
CEO
Matt is a native of Roswell, GA and has been practicing Physical Therapy for over 10 years in the Atlanta/North Metro area, specializing in orthopedics and sports medicine. Matt received his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia in Exercise Medicine and received his Masters of Physical Therapy degree from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. He currently assists in the interview process of prospective Physical Therapy students at Emory University. During Matt's 10 years in the Physical Therapy field he has assisted in numerous sports medicine venues including the SEC football championship, SEC basketball championship, ACC basketball championship, World Wrestling Entertainment, SEC gymnastics championship, Peach Bowl, Sarazen golf tournament and area high school sports programs. Matt previously served as Vice President of Operations for one of the country's largest outpatient rehabilitation corporations, while still maintaining active patient care and his sports medicine outreach programs. When Matt is not out serving in the community he is very active with his family, coaching his son's and daughter's sports teams.
Jill Mathis, PT
Jill is a native of Cumming, GA and has been practicing Physical Therapy for 12 years in the Metro area. She has been specializing in orthopedics for the past 10 years. Jill received her Bachelor's of Physical Therapy degree from Georgia State University, in Atlanta. Jill loves to help the people in her community stay healthy and active and takes pride in the small town feel of her one-on-one physical therapy approach. As well as treating general orthopedic patients, Jill has a love for the geriatric population and performs vestibular rehab - a form of therapy which involves treating balance deficits and dizziness issues. As a part time physical therapist and a full time mom of three, Jill knows the importance of getting her patients back to doing what they love and she takes much pride in helping people "rehab like a champion".
Cindy Wheeler, PT
Cindy is a native of Canton, CT and has been practicing for 24 years in the North Atlanta area - 22 years in Cumming. She specializes in orthopedic and sports injuries. Cindy received her degree from Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. She co-owned Lanier Physical Therapy for 10 years in Cumming, Sugar Hill, and Duluth before selling it to a large rehabilitation corporation. She has also both owned and worked in home physical therapy companies. Through her interest in sports she has volunteered at both Walton and Forsyth Central High Schools athletic events. Her physical therapy treatment philosophy consists of an individualized treatment approach emphasizing proper exercise and posture. She also works part time for her husband Jim, in accounting, and is very involved in Rotary. In her spare time she enjoys golf, Georgia football, arts and crafts.
Emily Jensen, Office Coordinator
Emily is a native of Mississippi and received her undergraduate degree in kinesiology from Mississippi State University. During her studies, she completed her internship under the direction of Matt. In addition to her office duties, she loves the opportunity to help patients in the clinic with their recovery. Emily lives in Cumming with her husband, son and their 2 dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys coaching volleyball at South Forsyth High School and the select travel team - "A5".
Marcus Hinkle, PT, DPT
Marcus is originally from Illinois where he received his Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology at the University of Illinois. He then attended Emory University where he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree graduating with honors. Marcus wrestled at the collegiate level and continues to actively participate in sports medicine.

Maria Sullivan, PTA
Maria is a native of Atlanta, GA and has been practicing over 11 years in the metro area. She received her Physical Therapist Assistant Degree from Gwinnett Technical College. Maria enjoys working and living in Cumming. She has worked in many areas of Physical Therapy including acute in-patient, neuro rehab, out-patient orthopedic and aquatic therapy in which she specializes. Her goal in treating patients is to individualize their treatment so that each patient achieves her/his best outcome. In the community, Maria has taught swimming and water aerobics at the YMCA to both young and old. At home she spends time with her family and cat.
Ellen Welch, PT
Ellen is a native of Cumming, GA and began practicing physical therapy 14 years ago. She has worked in orthopedics, home health, and rehab facilities around the metro Atlanta area. Ellen received her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Furman University and then went on to receive a 2nd degree in Physical Therapy from the Medical College of Georgia. She is a busy mom with 3 children and is a competitive tri-athlete during the season. She is actively involved in her church, the kid's school and also coaches the 8th grade girls basketball team at King's Ridge Christian School.
Julie Epp, Office Manager
Julie is a native of Cumming, GA and after graduating from high school attended Gainesville College for 2 years. She has 17 years experience in the physical therapy environment, specializing in all facets of office and insurance management. When not working, Julie spends most of her time with her son, Taylor. She also likes to participate in charitable events such as the Relay for Life and the Susan G. Koman foundation. Her hobbies include reading, movies, and photography.
