Cindy Wheeler, PT

Cindy is a native of Canton, CT and has been practicing for 27 years in the North Atlanta area - 25 years in Cumming. She specializes in orthopedic and sports injuries. Cindy received her degree from Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. She co-owned Lanier Physical Therapy for 10 years in Cumming, Sugar Hill, and Duluth before selling it to a large rehabilitation corporation. She has also both owned and worked in home physical therapy companies. Through her interest in sports she has volunteered at both Walton and Forsyth Central High Schools athletic events. Her physical therapy treatment philosophy consists of an individualized treatment approach emphasizing proper exercise and posture. She also works part time for her husband Jim, in accounting, and is very involved in Rotary. In her spare time she enjoys golf, Georgia football, arts and crafts.
