Champion Physical Therapy uses Ultrasound as a therapeutic modality. This modality if called Therapeutic Ultrasound which differs from diagnostic ultrasound. Therapeutic Ultrasound passes sound wave through the skin penetrating deeper tissue. In one mode, the sound wave cause microcavitation in the cells. In another mode, the sound wave causes microcavitation and a heating effect. Most patients find their joints feel looser after an Ultrasound treatment with an ease of movement.
